JamTank aims to forge communities of musicians and enthusiasts
in the urban music scene of Malaysia. The website strives to provide a
one-stop source for everything related to locally-bred music: gigs, reviews,
bands, demos, mp3s, online jamming and more.
JamTank is created by a group of urban musicians and music
enthusiasts who see a need for a concentrated point to forge closer relations
and foster collaboration between musicians, as well as enable music enthusiasts
to share and showcase their music.

KYAIZEN- Slave to the cause
Lazy, antsy, ugly with a beer belly.
ROY- Tech grandmaster
JamTank’s techie extraordinarie. Creator and the exalted Administrator
of the forums. Now if you’ve got forum problems you know who to
bug (ie not kyaizen!!).
VAMPIRAH- Webmaster general
JamTank’s web designer who runs his own design outfit, Playhouse.
DUCAES- Forum mod
Moderates Bands + Gigs forum. Builds ships in Port Klang in real life.
NAMELESS- Forum mod
Moderates Urban Music Scene forum. Also goes around interviewing bands.
Plays guitars in Jimi and The Galactic Empire.
RESONANTFREQUENCY- Forum mod
Moderates Recording forum. Of the one-man-outfit ‘Broken Scar’.
An absolute crowd favourite, and one of the nicest people you will ever
meet in the scene.
FOOL- Forum mod
Moderates Miscellaneous forum. Lives in Down Under. Came up with the ‘JamTank’
name. If you wonder the meaning of the name, now you know whom to ask!
JOSH- Forum mod, CBGM scout
Moderates Classifieds forum, as well as to look for eye candies to be
featured in the hallowed pages of JamTank. Big fan of Jenni, like everyone
else. Plays guitars for Flatline.
JEDI- Forum mod
Moderates Recording forum. One of the very first members of JamTank. Plays
guitars for Pop Shuvit.
CHILO- Forum mod
Moderates Gear Talk forum. Active JamTanker who contributes in many, many
ways. Plays bass for Estranged.
WENDY- Forum mod, havoc mistress
Moderator for BandStand and Bands + Gigs. Reason why her real name is
used here is that she changes her forum nick as frequent as she changes
her intimates.
SKRATCHBOARDER- Forum mod
Moderates the Hip Hop culture forum. Other monikers include Yazid and
DJ Ideaz. Runs his own music portal at skratchboarder.com.
SUBASH- In-house reviewer
Reviews CDs for JamTank. Experienced as a contributor for another local
music portal (now defunct). Send your stuff to Subash to get reviews!
CK- Tukang karut
Also does CD reviews for JamTank. Ex-bassist of Stone Angelina, and played
one stint with Ben’s Bitches wearing a G-string.
PAUL- Gig reviewer
Goes around reviewing gigs for JamTank. Plays guitars for Qings &
Kueens.
KENNY- Forum mod, partying wizard
Moderates the JamTronica forum. Long time electronica/clubbing kaki.
